*Kobe Chamberlin, Trenton Wedemeyer-Ravenna - RB Kobe Chamberlain rushed for 177 yards on 18 carries and TD runs covering 10, 2 and 43 yards in Ravenna's stunning 52-8 win over Arcadia-Loup City. QB Trenton Wedemeyer added 122 yards on 17 carries with TD runs covering 4 and 46 yards and also made 10 tackles on defense. Wedemeyer also tossed a 36 yard touchdown pass to sophomore Jack Kucera, who also had 10 tackles plus an interception on defense. Sophomore Bryce Rasmussen led the defensive charge with 14 stops.
*Conner Paulsen-South Loup - Outstanding senior RB, who missed the first three games of the season, was raring to go against Pleasanton last Thursday. Paulson ran for 275 yards on 34 carries with touchdown runs covering 5, 59 and 22 yards despite his team coming out on the short end of the 58-36 score. Paulsen also recorded 14 tackles in the game. This young man is a PURE football player inside and out.

*Ethan Latta, Dante Horner-Dundy County-Stratton - In an impressive 47-14 victory over North Platte St. Patrick's Ethan Latta rushed for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 11 carries, caught 4 passes for another 118 yards and two more TDs, had 7 tackles and most importantly made TWO interceptions, which set the Career 8-Man Football Interception record at 30. QB Dante Horner was also money through the air completing 9 of 10 passes for 207 yards and 3 TDs.
*Mac Carlson, Matthew Schindler-Wausa-Osmond - Carlson rushed for 152 yards on 12 totes with TD runs covering 4, 1 and 47 yards in Wausa-Osmond's 50-24 victory over a very good Hartington-Newcastle team. Junior RB Matthew Schindler added 121 yards on 15 carries and touchdown runs covering 44 and 4 yards and also returned a kickoff 67 yards for third touchdown in the win.
*Gage Hedstrom-O’Neill St. Marys - Just another normal day at the office for Gage Hedstrom in the Cardinals 63-6 over Elgin Public/Pope John. The senior phenom completed 16 of 23 passes for 181 yards and four TDs, rushed for another 102 yards and three more scores and made 10 tackles on defense.
*Grant Kozisek-East Butler - Took off for 316 yards and five touchdowns on 33 carries in East Butler's 40-26 victory over Mead. Kozisek also had 7 tackles and an interception in the big win.
*Cael Dubas, Landon Gulp, Isaac Supik-Fullerton - Sophomore QB Cael Dubas rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries, completed 7 of 8 passes for 135 yards and three more scores and made 10 tackles in Fullerton's 44-18 over Nebraska Christian. Freshman Isaac Supik (15 tackles) and sophomore Landon Gulp (14 stops) led the defensive charge for the Warriors.
*Trevor Trimble-Pender - Exploded for 231 yards on 21 carries and touchdown runs covering 48, 35 and 26 yards in Pender’s 52-28 win over West Point GACC.
*Trayven Kluthe-Cedar Bluffs - Rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries despite his team coming up short in a 50-44 loss to Humboldt-TRS.
*Dashiell Coleman, Brody Marsh-Elmwood-Murdock - Coleman rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns on just 9 carries while Brody Marsh added 146 yards and two scores on 16 touches in the Knights 74-28 victory over Falls City Sacred Heart.
*Brock Jeannoutot-Bloomfield - Tough Bees running back bolted for 226 yards on 22 carries and touchdown runs covering 52, 20 and 46 yards in Bloomfield's 42-28 win over Boyd County. The multi-talented Jeannoutot also threw a TD pass to Keldon Loecker in the game.
*Keston Beavers Elm Creek - 6-0, 170 lb sophomore exploded for 218 yards and SIX TDs on 24 carries in Elm Creek's 41-38 win over Kenesaw. Beavers also caught 2 passes for 27 yards, made 8 tackles and intercepted 2 passes in the nail-biter.
*West Bennett, Tucker Biskup, Zane Clark-Arapahoe - Sophomore quarterback West Bennett completed 19 and 34 aerials for 258 yards and five touchdowns in Alma’s 36-34 win over Arapahoe. Tucker Biskup caught 9 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown while making 12 tackles defensively. Zane Clark had 6 catches for 101 yards and three touchdowns in the exciting win.
*Tyson Jackson-Crofton - The remarkable Jackson ran for 180 yards on only 8 carries, scoring on five of those carries. The scoring runs came from 7, 5, 57, 38 and 68 yards away in the Warriors 66-20 win over Niobrara-Verdigre.
**1000 Yard Rusher Alert** - Second Time Around
*Jesse Reyes-Maxwell - Maxwell QB completed seven of nine passes for 237 yards with two touchdowns, rushed 19 times for 125 yards and three more scores, made 5 tackles and blocked a Mullen field goal in Maxwell's heartbreaking 34-32 loss to the Broncos. Reyes went over the 1000 yard rushing mark for the second straight year, raising this season's total to 1,008 yards with 22 touchdowns after gaining 1,090 yards and scoring 15 touchdowns a year ago.
*Colston Rodriquez, Braedyn Ramaekers-Twin River - Rodriguez completed 11 of 15 passes for 170 yards and a pair of scores in Twin River's 36-28 win over Newman Grove-St Edward. Both scoring passes went to Brayden Raemakers who caught 5 aerials for 110 yards total.
*Jack Baker, Jace Hauxwell-Hitchcock County - Baker completed 11 of 13 passes for 288 yards and four TDs in Hitchcock's 28-6 win over Loomis. He also rushed for 45 yards on 12 carries in the win. Jace Hauxwell caught 5 passes for 124 yards while Adam Kishker, Grady Erickson and Karson Shuler each had touchdown receptions.
*Jaden Browning, Braylon Wegner, Jaxon Wegner-Bancroft-Rosalie - Browning connected on 11 of 17 passes for 224 yards and four TDs in the Panthers 40-22 win over Winside. Braylon Wegner caught eight of those passes for a whopping 193 yards and a pair of scores while RB Jaxon Wegner rushed for 158 yards and a pair of scores on 31 carries in the win.
*Hunter Luther, Andrew Brester-Howells-Dodge - The amazing Luther ran for 203 yards on 12 carries with touchdown runs covering 55, 2, 13, and 51 yards during the first 7 minutes 16 seconds of the Jaguars 64-6 win over Riverside. Andrew Brester added 117 more rushing yards and two more scores in the win.
*Milo Rayford-Randolph - Ran for 165 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals 30-22 win over Lyons-Decatur.
*Kam Sealey, Kaeden Schmidt, Logan Tomkey-Sandy Creek - Sophomore QB Kam Sealey completed 11 of 15 passes for 134 yards and 3 TDs in Sandy Creek's 55-14 win over Sutton. Sealey also rushed 11 times for 145 yards with an additional score. Kaeden Schmidt added 101 yards on five carries with a 55 yard scoring dash while Logan Tomkey caught 3 of Sealey's passes for 50 yards and two TDs.
*1000 Yard Rusher Alert*
*Dan Duryea-Anselmo-Merna - The seemingly unstoppable Duryea had a HUGE game in Anselmo Merna's 58-35 win over Burwell. The Coyotes QB exploded for 296 yards and SIX TDs on 30 carries, completed 6 of 13 passes for another 75 yards and a score and made 8 tackles on defense, six of which were solo stops. Kolin Wright also returned a kickoff 71 yards for a score in the win.
*Hayden Gravett-Johnson-Brock - 183 yards and 3 TDs on 14 carries and 7 tackles in the Eagles 78-21 romp over Freeman.
*Jordan Scoville-SEM - Escaped for 291 yards and SIX TDs on just 15 carries in SEM’s 63-33 victory over Wauneta-Palisade. Scoville also had 10 tackles for the Mustangs.
*Maurice Robinson-Sandshills-Thedford - Broke loose for 274 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries in Sandhills-Thedford's 45-20 win over Brady. Robinson has rushed for 546 yards and 9 touchdowns in his last two games while raising his season total to 999 yards and 17 TDs.
*Brennan Lindner-Pleasanton - Speedy senior QB completed 10 of 17 passes for 132 yards with a pair of scores, rushed for 84 yards and two more touchdowns on 11 carries and made 8 tackles and recovered and fumble in the end zone for yet ANOTHER score in Pleasanton's 58-36 win over South Loup. Lindner’s 1,174 yards passing leads all of 8-Man football in Nebraska.
*Luke Shoemaker, Lincoln Nikoliczak, Landon Shoemaker-Central Valley - Junior Luke Shoemaker rushed for 178 yards and a pair of scores on 25 carries in Central Valley's 48-7 win over Twin Loup. Shoemaker also made 10 tackles. Quarterback Lincoln Nikoliczak completed 12 of 14 passes for 162 yards and four touchdowns. Landon Shoemaker caught six of those passes for 73 yards and a pair of scores as Central Valley rolls on towards a second consecutive state championship.
*Tucker Matthies, Wyatt Crosley-Clarkson-Leigh - Matthies bolted for 211 yards on only 8 carries with touchdown runs covering 37, 55, 35 and 65 yards in the Patriots 78-18 win over Humphrey/Lindsey. Wyatt Crosley added 168 yards on only 7 carries with TD scampers of 46 and 27 yards in the rout.
*Tripp Buettner-Hay Springs - Six-Man football stud put up video game-like numbers up in the Hawks 64-58 loss to Crawford. Buettner rushed 23 times for 196 yards and FIVE TDs, completed four of five passes for 109 yards and a pair of scores, made 11 tackles and punted 3 times for a fat average of 44.2 yards per boot. Now that is a night!
*Carter Eikmeier, Dayne Neujahr, Eli Fjell-Shelby-Rising City - Eikmeier rolled for 146 yards and two TDs on just 11 touches in the Huskies 84-8 thumping of Centennial. Freshman Dayne Neujahr was not far behind with 144 yards rushing on 11 totes and two touchdowns. Eli Fjell added a 22 yard Pick 6 for good measure.
*Adam Denkert-Kenesaw - Rambled for 228 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns in the Blue Devils heartbreaking 41-38 loss to Elm Creek.
*Kale Formander-Garden County - Rushed for 151 yards on just five carries with four of those going for touchdowns in 6-Man football’s #1 Garden County’s 87-8 win over Potter-Dix. As a team the Eagles rushed for 376 yards on just 26 carries (14.5/carry). 8 different backs carried the football at one time or another with five of them scoring touchdowns.
