*Gage Hedstrom-O'Neill St Mary's - Three time all-stater was responsible for SEVEN TDs and 229 all-purpose yards in St. Mary’s 52-12 win over Burwell. The senior sensation tossed 3 TD passes covering 32, 18 and 10 yards, a part of his 8 of 11 completions, 110 yards passing night. Hedstrom also returned a kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown, returned TWO punts for scores covering 52 and 51 yards, scored a rushing touchdown, had a tackle for loss and intercepted a Burwell pass. *Jason Heimes, Austin Sudbeck-Hartington-Newcastle - RB Jason Heimes rambled for 149 yards on just 7 carries with TD runs of 6, 35 and 43 yards in Hartington-Newcastle's 37-0 win over Wakefield. QB Austin Sudbeck was 12 for 17 passing for 250 yards and 3 TDs passes covering 40, 35 and 35 yards. The slick signal caller also added a six yard rushing touchdown in the victory.
*Braxton Bonneau, Jaden Browning- Bancroft Rosalie - Bonneau scooted for 150 yards and three TDs while QB Jaden Browning was completing 6 of 10 passes for 156 yards and two more scores in Bancroft-Rosalie's 50 to 30 win over Homer.
*Trey Blackmore-CWC - Raced for 183 yards and three TDs on just 15 carries in CWC’s 54-20 win over North Central.
*Jayden Aschoff, Aden Sellin, Carter Kruse Winside - QB Jayden Aschoff completed 18 of 22 passes for 203 yards and 2 TDs in Winside’s 48-36 shootout victory over Madison. Aden Sellin ran for 123 yards and a pair of TDs, while Carter Kruse added 108 yards on the ground and also scored 2 TDs.
*Cole Kromarek, Gage Walton Plainview - Kromarek gained 136 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns in Plainview's 40-16 victory over Wisner Pilger. Gage Walton added 109 yards and 3 TDs on only 8 carries in the win.
*Corbin Hoefer Neligh-Oakdale - Broke loose for 168 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries in the Warriors 38-14 conquest of Nebraska Christian.
*Tyson Jackson Crofton - Warriors ace runner was at it again, scoring on touchdown runs covering 2, 10, 18, 57 and 7 yards in Crofton's 68-15 win over Summerland.
*Brock Jeannoutot, Ben Eisenhauer-Bloomfield - 1000 Yard man Brock Jeannoutot erupted for 246 yards on just 14 touches with scoring runs covering 25, 35, 25 and 4 yards in the Bees in their stinging 68-6 win over Tri-County NE. Teammate Ben Eisenhauer hauled in 44 and 25 yard touchdown receptions and added a 61 yard TD run in the romp.
*Dylan Tabor- Potter-Dix - Did it all in Potter-Dix's 68-32 Six-Man win over Sterling in a game played in Elm Creek. Tabor rushed for 243 yards on just 12 carries with four touchdowns, returned a punt for 5th touchdown, and scored a 6th TD on a kickoff return. No, he wasn't done for the night, Dylan also made 11 tackles defensively and recovered a fumble in the game. Can you say Western Nebraska Athlete of the Week?
*Carter Eichmeier, Eli Fjell, Coy Vrbka, Logan Lindsey-Shelby-Rising City - 2024 thousand yard rusher Carter Eichmeier (Jr) rushed for 86 yards and 3 touchdowns in Shelby/Rising City’s 32-26 conquest over Class D-2 #1, defending State Champion Sandy Creek. Eli Fjell recorded 13 tackles in the game, while Coy Vrbka added 11 stops. Logan Lindsey also added 90 yards rushing and a touchdown and picked off two Sandy Creek passes in the big come from behind win.
*Connor Hinrichs, Jacob Huxoll, DJ Hajny-Sutton - Connor Hinrichs rushed for 160 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries, Jacob Huxoll recorded a 30 yard Pik 6 and DJ Haney returned a kickoff 55 yards for another score in the Mustangs 68 -6 win over Heartland (Henderson).
*Devin Brummer, Kotner Koch, Blue Devils “D” - Wynot - QB Devin Brummer completed 21 of 29 passes for 160 yards and 4 TDs in Wynot’s 60-28 win over a fine Creighton team. Brummer also rushed for 42 yards on 8 carries with another score in the game. Kotner Koch grabbed 6 pass receptions for 74 yards and a TD and took a 78 yard Kickoff to the house. The Wynot defense also held a pretty potent Creighton offense to 100 total yards in the game.
*Dane Duryea, Canyon Priest-Anselmo-Merna - Coyotes QB Dane Duryea ran for 137 yards and 3 TDs on 34 carries, completed 4 of 8 aerials for 66 yards and another TD, made 12 tackles on defense and intercepted an Eli Luther pass to complete his big night in the 42-38 victory over Anselmo-Merna. Canyon Priest returned a kickoff 78 yards for a score, caught a touchdown pass and made 8 tackles in the game.
*Eli Luther-Overton - Eagles QB was a shining star in the 42-38 loss to Anselmo Merna. Luther connected on 16 of 29 passes for 195 yards and 3 TDs, rushed for 91 yards on 12 carries with an additional score and made 6 tackles defensively in the loss.
*Krayton Ruggles, Micah Gerlach-Cambridge - Ruggles had a big night in the Trojans 60-32 victory over Franklin. He gained 166 yards on 21 carries, scoring 3 touchdowns. He also intercepted a pass, made 5 tackles and punted twice for an average of 41.5 yards per. Micah Gerlach added 122 yards and a pair of TDs on 15 carries and made 8 tackles defensively in the “W”..
*Mason Reed-Mead - Dual threat senior quarterback Mason Reed was 15 for 27 for 203 yards and three touchdowns in the Raiders 40-32 shootout victory over David City. Reed also gained 97 yards on 13 carries in the big win..
*Isaac Supik, Jacob Supik, Cael Dubas-Fullerton - Freshman Isaac Supik rushed for 125 yards and 3 TDs on 13 carries and made 11 tackles defensively in Fullerton 62-0 win over Nebraska Lutheran. Sophomore Jacob Supik added 110 yards and 3 TDs on 10 carries while fellow sophomore Caleb Dubas (QB) had 96 yards on 5 carries and a pair of touchdowns, was 3 for 5 through the air for 55 yards with a touchdown and made 10 stops on defense. Tucker Smith, another sophomore, had a fumble recovery, had an interception and caught a touchdown pass in the win. This Fullerton team is YOUNG and on it’s way to great success.
*Gage Ely-Red Cloud - Six man star went for 123 yards on 8 carries, half of which went for touchdowns and was 2 for 2 passing for another touchdown in Red Cloud’s 65-22 victory over Lewiston.
*Tucker Bickford -Weeping Water - Had a busy night during the Indians 88-24 win over Giltner. Bickford returned a punt 68 yards for a TD, recorded an 18 yard Pick 6, caught a touchdown pass and made five tackles in the romp. Now that is a full night's work.
*Kobe Chamberlain, Trenton Wedemeyer-Ravenna -The Bluejays unleashed their usual brutal rushing attack in a 58-22 victory over Elm Creek. Junior Kobe Chamberlain bolted for 227 yards and five touchdowns on 29 carries while teammate/classmate Trenton Wedemeyer wasn't far behind with 201 yard and 2 TDs on 16 tries. After just 2 games Chamberlain has run for 446 yards and 10 touchdowns while Wedemeyer has rushed for 367 big ones and five touchdowns. Is it safe to say Ravenna can run the football a little?
*Zavion-Mitchell-Alma - In a 52-30 victory over Pleasanton, Mitchell ran for 135 yards on 9 carries and two TDs, completed 12 of 18 passes for 172 yards and another score, and made 5 tackles on defense.
*Wyatt Fulton, Hayden Gravett Johnson Brock - In a 58-34 victory against Exeter-Milligan-Friend, QB Wyatt Fulton completed 16 of 22 passes for 260 yards and a whopping 6 TDs. Gravett ran for 157 yards on 18 carries and two TDs and made 11 stops defensively.
*Kwyntin Kampa-Lyons-Decatur NE - Ran for 147 yards on 17 carries and 3 TDs in Lyons- Decatur NE’s 48-12 victory over Cedar Bluffs. Kampa also made 13 tackles on defense, 6 of which were solos and added 2 TFL.
