  • Bobby as a MHS grad Class of 1980 it was great to see your acknowledgement of Tristan Dirks from Sterling. Here are a few things you may not be aware of: Tristan has only played one entire game so far usually playing only the first half, his 5'4 140 frame is quick 22.6 200 State Runner Up Class D and a 50.8 400 with a 4th place State finish, scampered for 9 touchdowns this year with some big blocks thrown by his younger by 6 minutes and much bigger twin brother Trace 5'7 170! Defensively Tristan had 87 solo tackles last year from the safety position prior to their last game which was forfeited due to injuries. The Sterling Jets have adjusted well to their 1st year of 6 man football, despite losing a couple key starters to injuries we are holding our own. Thanks for the acknowledgement and GO BIG JETS!
