So, now the guess work. Here is what the projected District finals might look like and by the way, it's really far too early for this but I'll go out on a limb (a long one). #1. Falls City vs. Lincoln Christian #2. Boys Town vs. Wahoo #3. Wilber-Clatonia vs. Adams Central #4. Boone Central/NG vs. Wayne #5. Kearney Catholic vs. Wayne #6. Cozad Vs. Chadron .....................use your imagination and take it from here. It's also one of my favorite times of the hoops season because Conference tournaments are beginning to get into full swing. The Centennial, Capitol, and Mid-States Conference tournaments all commence next Monday, January 21 and will impact C-1 teams the rest of the way. It could make or break an injury riddled team like Nofrolk Catholic. Who'd have dreamed the Knights would be only 7-6 at this point in time, but they sorely miss the services of Conner Ketter right now. Here's hoping Ketter can return before long. |
