2025 Bobby Mills 1000 Yard Club - 51st Version

Hunter Luther of Howells-Dodge notched his THIRD 1000 Yard Rushing Season and, in the process, surpassed the 5000 Yard Career Rushing mark (5,484 yards).

*A total of 87 Nebraska high school running backs reached the 1000 yard rushing plateau during the 2025 season and are highlighted by the 51st Version of the Bobby Mills 1000 Yard Club.

*There were 48 seniors, 30 juniors and 9 sophomores who reached the magical mark, led by Wahoo’s sensational senior Kip Brigham, who led the state with 2,657 yards.

*Brigham (5,132) and Howells-Dodge three-time thousand yard runner Hunter Luther (5,484) both surpassed the 5000 Yard Career Rushing mark in 2025.

*Seven teams boasted a pair of thousand yard rushers this past season. Aurora, Boyd County, Elmwood-Murdock, Nebraska City Lourdes, Ravenna, Syracuse and Wahoo Neumann each produced a pair, obviously fronted by a terrific offensive line.

*There were 37 Eleven Man backs, 44 Eight-Man runners and 6 backs from the Six-Man ranks to reach a thousand yards rushing.
