McCOOK, Neb. -- Investigating officers suspect too much speed on icy roads was to blame for the one-vehicle accident that injured three people Friday evening southwest of McCook. McCook "Christmas Toy Box" elves found a Baby Jesus doll last week in a dumpster designed for toy donations, and are wondering why someone would take that route to donate a Baby Jesus figurine. Or is it possible that the doll was stolen from a Nativity set and that's how someone disposed of the evidence? It just seems odd for this particular figurine to be among porcelain dolls donated for a children's Toy Box distribution. ...
