Replace participation trophies with real prizes
Dear Editor,
In graduate school, I took a class designed to remove prejudice so the students could someday counsel anyone with political correctness.
My professor had photos of herself dressed elegantly hob-nobbing with foreign diplomat.
She had reached the pinnacle. She was a globalist.
One could wonder what they talked about if discussing differences would be incorrect. Maybe world peace and fine wine.
If Christianity is no longer correct and globalism is gaining ground over nationalism, don't we have a budding identity problem?
If your religion is quelled and you say your country slipping away, do you have anything worth living for, let alone dying for?
Who are you, where are you from and what do you believe used to be questions that defined you. The election proved that many people still want their opinion to count.
Hopefully as we go forward, we can do what's best for America, defend our country from peril and replace some of our participation trophies with real trophies.
