The commissioners, if you don't not already know, are involved in the hiring and promotion of members of the police and fire departments. What we do is pick, administer and score a test appropriate for the position being considered and interview each of the applicants who pass the test...

CURTIS -- The status of a lawsuit that challenges the constitutionality of Legislative Bill 701 is scheduled for the upcoming Middle Republican Natural Resources District board meeting, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the NRD office in Curtis.
