If you're of average height -- say about 5-10 for a man or 5-4 for a woman -- stop what you're doing, stand up and look a foot or two above your head. Now, imagine taking 10 steps back ... crouching in a stance ... running towards the high jump bar ... and catapulting yourself upward and over a height more than a foot above your head...

Dear Editor, I read Bob Hite's Open Forum, and he forgot to mention that there are people who ride the handi bus and never pay. As that is my means of getting up to the senior center, I always pay. If the fee is raised to $2, I won't be going up. I think $4.25 is too much to pay for a lunch each day...
