Police warn of bogus bills

McCOOK, Neb. -- Area law enforcement officers are asking retailers to be on the lookout for counterfeit $10 and $100 bills. Counterfeit ten dollars bills of good quality were passed in Alma recently and $100 bills were accepted at several stores in Scottsbluff. The $100 bills are made of a paper which passes marker tests but lack a watermark and magnetic strip. The bills were identified as counterfeit during bank inspections...
