McCOOK, Nebraska -- A McCook man arrested in March for attempting to sell a rifle from the trunk of his car was sentenced to prison time earlier this month in Red Willow County District Court. The offender, 29-year-old Kenneth D. Capps of McCook, was sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison after accepting a plea agreement in June that admitted guilt to a Class III felony offense of possession of a stolen firearm...

Twelve non-profit organizations involved with affordable housing issues will share $720,000 in Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Funds.
