Some of the McCook pastors are sponsoring a community and area wide Revival campaign at the First Baptist Church, 1010 East 6th, just a couple blocks north of the (east) water tower. Tonight, Pastor Allan Jackson will be speaking and tomorrow night I will be speaking on the topic THE KING IS COMING, a message on Bible Prophecy showing just how close we are to the Rapture, co-ordinating scripture with world events...

Anyone who's been a stay-at-home mom, a "Mister Mom," a single mother or part of a two-income family with children knows Salary.com's annual survey isn't far from wrong. The Massachussets-based firm that studies workplace compensation calculated a mom's market value by studying pay levels for 10 job titles, with duties that a typical mom performs, ranging from housekeeper and day care center teacher to van driver, psychologist and chief executive officer...

You've probably heard about the allegations of police brutality in Philadelphia after three suspected shooters were surrounded, thrown on the ground and kicked, punched, and night-sticked by several Philadelphia police officers this past Wednesday. The entire incident was captured on video tape by a news crew for a local television station and has been broadcast on most of the major news networks. It was the Rodney King incident all over again...
