Revival meetings

Saturday, May 10, 2008

Dear Reader,

Some of the McCook pastors are sponsoring a community and area wide Revival campaign at the First Baptist Church, 1010 East 6th, just a couple blocks north of the (east) water tower.

Tonight, Pastor Allan Jackson will be speaking and tomorrow night I will be speaking on the topic THE KING IS COMING, a message on Bible Prophecy showing just how close we are to the Rapture, co-ordinating scripture with world events.

This beautiful sanctuary has seating capacity for 360 people. Bring your unsaved relatives, friends and neighbors. This could well be the last opportunity to see them come to Christ, we are that close.

In Luke 17:26-28 we read how in the days of Noah and Lot, they were eating drinking, marrying and being given in marriage buying, selling, planting (all legitimate everyday activities) until the flood came and destroyed them all an for Lot, It rained fire and brimstone and destroyed them all." What was their sin? Neglecting Bible Prophecy!

Load up your cars and vans and drive in. Pastor Jeff Thurman will be speaking on Thursday night and Terry McCorkle on Friday night. No service on Wednesday night. Looking forward to seeing you.

Cordially,

Paul Schneider,

McCook

  • The above information is not quite correct. Paul, I'm sure, wanted his article placed in the paper last Tuesday, as that is when He taught God's word at the revival.

There is no Revival scheduled for today (Saturday), nor tomorrow (Sunday) evenings.

Pastor Jackson, does invite, however, all area Ministers to gather at the First Baptist Church, Monday, and Tuesday, May 12th, and 13th, for Psalms, Prayer, and discussion, on the course of ministerial action to be persued, considering the shortness of time left, before the sorting of the 'Sheep and Goats.' To speak with Pastor Allen Jackson, please call (308) 345-3747.

From my heart: I desire more brothers and sisters, than I now have, In Christ. I trully believe the time is very short, for becoming a Child of God, and Bride of Christ. Please pray on it.

    Shalom in Christ, Arley Steinhour
