When Jesus walked with mortal man,
To save, He'd lift them by their hand, Today, Disciples witness, as best we can, Unsaved, need to: 'Accept God's wedding band.' By Arley Steinhour 111412
the Sun has set upon the Day,
That horn will sound across the land,
It's taken twenty centuries,
Generations, of mortality,
You knew, from the beginning,
At last, the time is almost here,
Most of mankind won't understand,
If all of this sounds gloomy,
We witnessed to friend and family,
Dear Lord, you know this story,
Remember the famous Boxer,

Rapture Home should not be so roomy,
But, too many refused to see.
Too many refuse to see, or too many never had the chance? What will happen, do you think, to the millions of Chinese and Indian men, women, and children, who have never been in contact with Christianity? Why would an allegedly loving God purposefully forsake millions of people who he must have known could never possibly become Christian?
Please take your challenges and discussion to a Forum designed for that procedure, Benevolus.
I share Praise, and Poetry (notice the vernacular: ""share"" please).
Should you desire to copy and paste, to your own blog, please discuss that with Gazette management, and cease, if you will, your attempts to play your (IMO) silly, twisting, word-games, on this blog.
I am just a man, who shares his Faith and heart, and that, sir, is not up for challenge, nor twisting of intent. Perhaps this is a bit pompous of me, and perhaps I should not say it, but: "Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man." Mat 16:23 [ESV]
Oh, FWIIW, I believe I know the answer to your question about the millions of Chinese, ... and such, but also 'feel' direction, not to divulge, since it is not of God's plan that we should know that, yet. God 'Owns' the Universe, not any of us. I'm sorry, you can't seem to understand that.
But, I allow my Chicken Little attitude to show, and must quit typing. Ha.
There is still a tick of time, for you to Repent; Please do.
Navy,
First of all, if you are going to post poetry in a public forum--especially with the intention of converting people-- I believe I am well within my rights to comment on your work.
Second, why is that you are strong enough to share your faith, but too weak to discuss it? I am a curious reader of yours, and were I in your shoes, I would hope that I would be happy to explain why I believe so strongly in my religion. Especially because you seem to want others to join you in your beliefs.
Third, why the deflection? You "believe [you] know" the answer, but you won't share? Doesn't it seem terrible that God would damn millions to hell who may have never even heard of Christianity? Is this, perhaps, a failing of Christians to spread Christianity?
My words cannot make anyone convert, revert, deflect, or reflect. I offer what I have to say, yes, in the hopes that someone may see my offerings to God, shared with people, and desire to turn their sin-filled heart to Jesus, for Redemption, based on the price He paid, on the Cross, to Redeem us from Judgment. I further believe that what Jesus did, for us, at that same time, according to Traditional Hebrew Custom, is to have Paid the Bride Price, through His Blood, with His Life, that, any and all, who 'Believe On Him,' as a Gift, are freed from Guilt and Debt, to God, for all time to come. All this, through the Gift of Choice, we were given, again, by God, who owns all and every thing/person, in the Universe; the 'choice' of accepting God, as their God, or rejecting Him, as their God. This, I believe.
Can I prove this to your satisfaction?? I doubt that, since you just asked the same question, about 'other' people, that I cannot fully explain, though I've tried many time to others of your ilk, without success. I'm a 'slow learn,' but, I can learn, and have, so I don't argue with people, especially intelligent people, who are trying to embarrass me into saying something that they know already, is wrong, especially the twisted question, that is asked, is already wrong.
Please feel free, to complain to the Editor, about my being able to refuse to debate my offerings with the readership, if I so desire. You, a reader, IMO, do not have the authority to dictate how, and if, I will perform to your expectation.
I've said it before, and will say this again, my prospective friend, There is still a bit of time, perhaps, for you to chose to Repent to Jesus, and become a brother in Him, and a part of His Bride, so as to be Eternally FREE, With Him, Wherever He Be. Yeee-Haaa!!! and AMEN, Graduating soon, just don't quite know when; or how many there be, that graduate, with me. Hosanna, Lord Jesus. AMEN, again, and whenever I can. (^8
Ooops and Sorry, I forgot to address your first statement, about being within your rights,.....
Yep, you are afforded that privilege, to 'comment,' and I welcome your comments, but I deny you any privilege or right to 'demand' I perform to your satisfaction. nuff-said.
Navy,
I wouldn't want to give the impression that I expect you to "perform" a certain way. If you chose not to discuss your beliefs that is perfectly fine by me.
It is not something I would recommend though if you are looking to gain the favor of those who have questions or doubts about your religion. But if you don't mind preaching to the choir, I suppose not discussing your beliefs with non-believers is not a problem. If you are looking to spread the tenants of Christianity to those not already persuaded, you may want to engage your audience, especially the ones who have legitimate questions/concerns.
The moment Christianity is treated as a mere religion, it is lost. Throughout the centuries, many have. They worship a church, a denomination, a humanly central figure, past human figures, a few texts taken out of context.
Christianity was meant to be a working relationship with God. The perfect example was Jesus.
I believe that the Satanic motivation, to destroy Christianity, is to drag it down, from within, until it does seem to be nothing more than any other religion. It is NOT, a religion. It is as you describe, Chunky PB. Thanks. And, that is my humble opinion, based on my discernment of Scripture, and many essay's of Bible Scholars. Yeee-Haaa!!!!
Keep the Watch.
