  • Wonderful article and I could not agree more, but I would point out Harlan took the head football coach position in fall 1975 for Dalton High School, prior to the merger. I was a senior. It was the first year of 8-man ball. We had a 5-2-1 season,a huge turn around and preview of what awaited with the Leyton program's winning ways. Thank you for the article!

  • He also lead a team to the semifinals in 1999. Great coach

  • Mr. Dorman was my coach from 1974-1979. (Jr high and High school) An amazing football ball coach but better person. Most didn’t realize he spent his summers repairing truck tires at the local COOP station for the wheat harvesters that traveled through and area farmers. A great example of humility and fine work ethic.
