AREA FOOTBALL TEAMS AND THEIR 1000 YARD RUSHERS

The 1000 Yard Guy figured it was prime time for a listing of all these shining stars from McCook, Cambridge, Arapahoe, Wauneta-Palisade, and a now closed schools, Bartley and Culbertson. Cambridge had their first recorded World-Herald All-Stater's so far back, they listed only their last names. Mousel, a guard, and Easter, a HB were on that 1924 mythical team. For many, many years, the WH All-State team comprised all classes. It was the equivalent of the modern day Super-State squad. Cambridge had more than just these two boys listed on these teams throughout the years.........rich tradition.
