Oddly enough I never really got into those games. Have tried playing Halo and while it is fun it never held my attention. Must admit to never playing Half-Life or Fallout.

  • How much do these games cost and how many hours do you guys spend playing this stuff? Haven't played a video game since Galaga in 2007 at my wifes B-day. Maybe I should get one.

Typically around $60 for a new game, but the older ones cost significantly less especially used.

  • You should get the Orange Box my friend. It's got a whole bunch of Half-Life II stuff plus Portal. All of it is pretty sweet if like puzzle solving type FP games. Sadly I don't get much time to to play anymore between work and raising a small one.

  • Liked L.A.Noire didn't like how it ended though.

Just got GTA 4 about a month or so ago for 20.00 new at wally world.

Got Need for Speed Hot Pursuit last year, very cool with great graphics. I don't buy these games to get pi$$ed off so it's off to IGN for codes.I like simulators the best though, got Flight Simulator 2000 at a Garage Sale for my pc. Sim City is a great series for the pc too.Got a code that I could put in Burger Kings and Best Buys all over my cities. All in all I think that video games are a good way to relieve stress.I tried Red Dead didn't care for it much,my son in law loved it and the one after though. I also think that Rockstar and EA games are among the best out there. My son has all of the Halo series,he takes a couple of vacation days when ever a new one comes out and plays non stop.

  • My wife likes Angry Birds.

I saved the Princess on Mario Bros (version 1) a lifetime ago--25 years?. I saved the Princess on Legend of Zelda about the same time.

After that I did not play video games much; lack of time; lack of interest.

I agree Wildhorse I was not overly pleased with the end of LA Noire, but the worst ending of all time goes to the Mass Effect trilogy. That can be solely blamed on EA. The original developers, the same company that has done most of the Star Wars games, had really set up an awesome idea where your actions and decisions played throughout all three games and then at the end of the series, basically nothing you did mattered.

They have made an add on that is supposed to end the game differently but the end of the series was a big swing an a miss.

This isn't a video game but we are once again going to NYC a few days before Christmas. You all need to go at one time in your life and see Manhattan all lit up. I also recommend dropping into Radio City Music Hall and checking out the Christmas Spectacular.
