MNB Seniors enjoy Sunday night visit to Norton

MNB Senior 18U were victorious against Norton American Legion Post 63 6-2 on Sunday.

A double by Bryson Gullion put MNB Senior 18U on the board in the top of the first.

A hit by a pitch extended the MNB Senior 18U lead to 2-0 in the top of the second inning.

Cole Davidson pitched four innings in relief for MNB Senior 18U. The reliever surrendered two hits and two runs (zero earned) while, striking out two and walking two. Kale Sattler led things off on the hill for MNB Senior 18U. The lefty surrendered two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Jack Carter began the game for Norton American Legion Post 63. The hurler surrendered two hits and two runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two.

Asher Wilson, Sattler, and Gullion each collected two hits for MNB Senior 18U. Wilson and Jaime Samaniego each drove in two runs for MNB Senior 18U. MNB Senior 18U had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Bo Schlegel and Samaniego led the team with two walks each. Gullion stole two bases.
