McCOOK, Neb. — Lisa Lorane Miles was born Feb. 22, 1964, to Ronald Dale Scott and Janet Elaine (Doak) in McCook, Nebraska. She received her GED from McCook in 1983.

Lisa worked as a dietary cook at McCook Community Hospital and later at Highland Park. She also worked for Phil at Overtime Lounge and Old Sarges as a bartender.

Lisa loved working in her garden. Phil and Lisa made many trips to the boats in Council Bluffs, Iowa and to Blackhawk, Colorado to gamble. She liked to play her scratch off tickets, putting together jigsaw puzzles and playing Keno. She loved going to the county fair where she played bingo and checked out all the animals.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Ron Scott; father and mother-in-law, Eroll and Marjorie Miles; brother-in-law, Tony Conroy; nephew, Dillon Conroy; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Phil Miles; daughter, Lily Scott of Independence, Missouri; sons, Danial Anderson of Kearney, Nebraska, Jeffery Anderson of Kearney, Nebraska, Anthony (Kay) Peters of McCook, Matthew (Stacey) Peters of McCook and Noah Peters of McCook; numerous brothers and sisters, grandchildren and extended family member and friends.

Cremation was chosen and a service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be left in Lisa’s name to the McCook Humane Society.

Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
