McCOOK, Neb. — The preliminary hearing for a McCook business owner facing drug-related charges has been postponed.

The preliminary hearing for Robert V. Hall, owner of Dr. Feel Good in McCook, was rescheduled from Tuesday, June 23, because his attorney had a scheduling conflict. Attorney Terrance Waite of North Platte filed for and was granted a motion for continuance, as he had prior commitments to attend a mediation in Lincoln. The new hearing date is Tuesday, July 21, at 2 p.m. in Red Willow County Court.

Following a multi-agency investigation, Hall was arrested on June 5 and charged with delivery/distribution/manufacture/possession of a controlled substance (Schedule I, II, III) and possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation centered around the alleged illegal sale of mushroom products sold at stores in multiple communities.

The other two arrested that week were the owner and an employee of La Bamba in Scottsbluff.

The investigation was a cooperative effort between McCook Police Department, the Nebraska Attorney General’s office and Nebraska State Patrol.
