HERNDON, Kan. — Thomas Dean Arden, of Herndon, tragically passed away north of McCook, Nebraska, on June 17, 2026, at the age of 51.

Thomas was born in Fresno, California, on April 6, 1975, to parents Lloyd H. and Edith I. (Downs) Arden Jr.

Thomas was a church member of Church of Christ in Grand Junction, Colorado. He moved to Herndon from Colorado in 2007. Thomas was a factory worker at Valmont Irrigation.

Thomas will be remembered for his good heart, always ready to lend a hand, and he loved his family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father and brother Danny (Chrstina) Arden.

Those left to celebrate Thomas’ life are his mother, Edith Arden of Herndon; brothers, Nathan Arden of Towanda, Kansas and Hank (Brenda) Arden of Brookville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Memorials are suggested in his name to be designated at a later date.
