NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Peggy Klocke, age 67, of North Platte, Neb., passed away on April 26, 2026.

She was born on August 6, 1958 in McCook, Neb., to Keith and Harriet (Harrison) Klocke.

Peggy lived a life that held both challenges and deep love. Through every season, she remained someone who cared for others in her own way and left a lasting imprint on those who knew her. While her journey was not always easy, it was meaningful, and her story mattered.

She is survived by her children: Misha Thompson of Sterling, Kan., Drew and wife, Melissa Thompson of Sterling, Kan., Breeann and husband, Brandon Fink of Elkhart, Kan. and Balie and husband, John Gillespie of Sterling, Kan.; eight grandchildren; her parents; siblings, Gregory and wife, Margie Klocke, of Manhattan, Kan., and Brenda and husband, Alan Benson of Oregon, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Our family finds comfort in believing that she is now at peace—free from pain, restored, and held in the grace and mercy of heaven.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, May 2, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cambridge, Neb., with Father Kenneth Wehrs celebrating. A Rosary will be recited prior to services, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the church. A private family inurnment in the St. Catherine Cemetery in Indianola will follow services.
