Trojans, 'Rider both golf near to Arapahoe tourney titles

ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Super close competitive golf became the story of Tuesday’s Arapahoe Invitational where a tie-breaker decided one title and only three strokes seprated top two teams.

Southwest senior Houston Billeter was so close with his excellent round of 73 but saw Amherst’s Cope Smith capture first overall.

The Trojans were 19 strokes better than Amherst overall, but Alma took this team with a three-stroke win over those Trojans.
