Red Devils, Rawlins girls lose key games down stretch

QUINTER, Kan. — The Decatur Community, Kan., girls slipped to 16-6 with a 63-40 loss to Quinter, Kan., Friday evening.

Junior Kamry Getz’s 30 points paced the winners as no other details were obtained.

The Rawlins County-Atwood girls dropped a 45-28 contest to Smith Center, Kan., on Friday.

They dropped to 12-10 with junior Camden Franklin scoring nine points and senior Kayte Shively adding eight.

Junior Tess Bolen shot 50 percent to add five points, but Rawlins made just nine of 42 two-point attempts over for 24 percent. Junior Josie Ginter made her one shot for two points.
