Latest area hoops feature wins for Wolves, Trojans, etc.

MAYWOOD, Neb. — Senior Charlie Callis and junior Keenan Richards scored 21 points each to lead a Maywood-Hayes Center 73-39 victory over Wauneta-Palisade Tuesday evening.
Richards shot eight for 12 at 67 percent while Isaak Messinger added 13 points when he hit six of 10 shots.
Messinger also secured 14 rebounds for his double-double.
Sophomore Nathan Hiett broke through for 13 points to lead the Broncos.
Aaden Wheeler added nine points and sophomore Ayden Baker scored another eight.

ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Senior Brady Ahlemeyer scored 18 points and classmate Brady Ahlemer added 14 to lead the Trojans Tuesday night.
Senior Hayden Sich’s 16 points topped the Warriors.

ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Sophomore Suttyn Shafer’s 22 points powered a huge Warriors win over rival Cambridge Tuesday evening.
Sophomore Sawyer Shafer followed with 11.
Senior Mallory Springer’s 13 points led the Trojans with classmate Aspen Webb adding another 11.
Warrior Ryleigh Tidyman also stepped as a senior, totaling nine points and 10 rebounds.
Chase County 70,
Hitchcock 55
IMPERIAL, Neb. — Hitchcock County’s boys fell short though senior Adam Kisker did score 25 points and classmate Jayce Hauxwell added 18.
The Falcons only shot 27 percent overall.
No individual stats were obtained for the Chase County boys.
The Chase County girls also scored a 59-42 victory.

Wallace 21
WALLACE, Neb. — Sophomore Apsen Billeter’s 27 points and 18 from senior Anikka nelms topped the Southwest Roughrider victory on Tuesday.
The Roughriders overcame 0-for-18 shooting from three-point range.
Junior Kassidy Vaughan scored another seven points.
Senior Kaley Sauser’s 16 points paced the Wildcats.

WALLACE, Neb. — Senior Houston Billeter unleashed a 35-point performance Tuesday night for Southwest to go with 40 and 36 efforts during the recent RPAC tournament.
Junior Deric Kelley added nine points on four of six shooting, but the host Wildcats prevailed behind a balanced attack featuring sophomore Brad Hanson’s 15 points and two others with 14.
