McCook wrestling boys host dual invite on Friday

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook High’s wrestling boys host their annual dual tournament on Friday starting at 2 p.m. in the Graff Events Center.

Coach Nick Umscheid provids some more details:

“We have a good field of teams coming to McCook on Friday. North Platte is probably the favorite to win it all.

They have a pretty solid line up from top to bottom which we saw last Saturday.

Other teams to watch out for is Wray, Colo., which always has a tough team and Amherst.

The other teams of Alliance and Gothenburg have several high quality wrestlers on their team as well. It should be a great day of wrestling.

We will have three mats going with duals going nonstop starting at 2pm at the Graff Events Center.

Each team will get five duals and their will be some good match ups in each dual.”
