McCOOK, Neb. - Tammy Jane Brave Hawk, age 48, passed away May 21, 2024, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Neb.

Tammy was born on Dec, 15, 1975, in Hays, Kansas to parents James and Wilma (Hayden) McBride. She graduated from high school in 1995 in Ft. Collins, Colo. Throughout her years, she was a waitress and was a member of First Congregational Church.

Tammy is proceeded in death by her mother and her brother, Benny Foster.

Those left to celebrate her life is her father; sons, Dakota (Vicki) McBride of McCook, Neb., and Mathew McBride of Trenton, Neb.; daughter, Jessika (Kenny) Weaver of Cambridge, Neb.; brothers, Bill (Barb) Patras of McCook, Neb., and Sean McBride of Kearney, Neb.; six grandchildren; and numerous friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to defer funeral cost and may be directed to Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, c/o the Brave Hawk Family, PO Box 476, McCook, NE 69001.

The family is hosting a Celebration of Life Reception on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McCook Eagles Club.
