Several small tornadoes wreaked havoc around Southwest Nebraska Thursday night, including one at Trenton which blew the roof off a football grandstand and destroyed a new scoreboard, another north of Stratton and one near Perry Grain. Kevin Ruppert caught a picture of the storm at 9 p.m. near the Trenton ethanol plant. A large cedar tree was uprooted in the Pearson Addition and a new home under construction to the east near Road 719 was blown down. Andy Gillen’s security camera, right, caught the twister near Perry Grain, right.
