Graphic design exhibit at MCC through Friday

Amy Stritt is one of several MCC students who are exhibiting their work this week at the Wrightstone Fine Arts Gallery as part of the Graphic Design Portfolio Exhibition. In addition to her role as a student Stritt is a mother of three and works outside the home. She was named one of MCC’s Outstanding Business Student at this year’s Honors Convocation.

McCOOK, Neb. — The works of MCC Graphic Design and Visual Communication students will be on display at the Wrightstone Gallery on campus through Friday. This exhibit represents both first-year students as well as graduating students under long-time instructor, Becky Meyers, who is retiring after this semester.

This exhibition will showcase the sophomore portfolio work for six sophomores including: Abagail Seybold, Amy Stritt, Lily Mixer, Sophia Perez, Lauren Franklin and LeReina Colton.

 The works from freshmen and sophomores include print design such as illustrations, books, brochures, and poster designs as well as video, three-dimensional and animation projects.

 MCC’s Wrightstone Fine Arts Gallery is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and this exhibit is open to the public, no admission charge.
