Trojans lead talented area pack of teams at Harsin Invite

Cambridge sophomore Tayten Koeppen took off out of the blocks to win both the 200 meters and 400 meters at Thursday’s Dale Harsin Invitational in Alma.

ALMA, Neb. — Cambridge finished just three points from a team title sweep at Thursday’s Dale Harsin Invitational.

The Trojan girls were rolling with Jolie Farr winning three events: 100 meters, 200 and as anchor leg on their 400-meter relay.

Freshman Joslyn Holtze joined senior Jalen Kent, Rachel Harris and Farr in winning that race.

Cambridge outscored host the Alma Cardinals by nearly 18 points while Southern Valley took third and Mediicne Valley finished fourth.

Ann Bose, Bryn Baily and Adi Hunt were all Southern Valley event champs.

The Trojan boys scored 86 points as Tayten Koeppen won two races bu Alma’s Cardinals prevailed with 89.

Team scores along with all area top six placers on Thursday.
