McCOOK, Neb. — RPAC champion Hitchcock County followed that team effort with a 33-stroke win in the Falcons’ invite at Heritage Hills Golf Course Tuesday afternoon.

Sophomore Jack Baker was again champion just like RPAC as he shot 77, seven strokes better than runner-up and teammate Brayden Melchert.

McCook’s JV team competed and coach Ben Vetrovsky offered these remarks:

“Extremely windy conditions at Heritage Hills. Our junior varsity battled the conditions and competed. We took a few big numbers that held us back from being a top 3 finisher. There were stretches in the round where the golfers played really well. Prod of Brody Anthony for being in medal contention. The junior varsity continues to improve every week.”
