HAL showcase Wednesday

Tuesday, April 30, 2024

McCOOK, Neb. - McCook Public Schools will be hosting the annual HAL (High Ability Learners) showcase on Wednesday, May 1 in the Junior High School cafeteria from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The HAL showcase provides teachers and students an opportunity to display and share some of the work and projects our students have created.

Students do not have to be identified as HAL students to showcase their projects; classroom projects that merit recognition will also be presented in the showcase.

Projects at the showcase include McCook Elementary Crackerjack projects, Central Elementary Crackerjack projects, McCook Junior High Crackerjack projects, Art Class projects, Junior High Math Counts Competition displays, Expanding Your Horizons projects, MPCC Technical School Field Trip displays, Central Nebraska Science & Engineering Fair projects, National History Day projects, Nebraska Junior Academy of Science State Competition projects, and the Health Careers class trip presentations.

Parents, students, and the general public are invited to stop in and see some of the projects, models, and differentiation activities that students in the McCook Public Schools work on throughout the year.
