McCOOK Neb. — In a quest for holistic wellness, Kristine and Gabe Stritt embarked on a transformative journey to create Country Chill—a sanctuary where health, beauty, and vitality converge. Their venture began about three years ago when Gabe struggled with sciatic nerve pain, prompting them to explore alternative therapies beyond conventional medicine.

Their breakthrough came in the form of cryotherapy. This cutting-edge treatment not only alleviated Gabe’s pain but also opened the door to a myriad of benefits for their community. Inspired by the remarkable impact of cryotherapy, Kristine and Gabe decided to introduce this innovative therapy to the community, initially offering services at the Willow before establishing Country Chill.

Country Chill offers a range of services designed to promote overall well-being. At the core of their offerings is cryotherapy, which they say is effective for pain management, facial rejuvenation, and body sculpting. By reducing inflammation through cryotherapy, clients experience immediate results, including fat cell reduction and improved mobility.

Cryosculpting involves:

Lowering the temperature to 39 degrees.Effectively freezing and minimizing fat cells. Leading to visible inch loss.Additionally, the therapy aids in pain relief by penetrating deeper layers than traditional ice packs, enhancing the range of motion for many clients.

Another unique feature at Country Chill is the cold plunge, a rejuvenating experience that involves immersion in near-freezing water. Advocates of cold plunges attest to benefits like reduced muscle soreness, decreased inflammation, and improved mood. The accompanying dry heat sauna complements the plunge, promoting relaxation and reducing inflammation. Kristine and Gabe have both taken the plunge, “There is a huge adrenalin factor, but it also helps with inflammation, and you feel amazing afterward.” Kristine said.

Country Chill offers compression therapy using NormaTec technology, catering to individuals seeking enhanced recovery and circulation for legs, arms, and hips. This air compression system mimics natural muscle pumps, providing targeted massage to alleviate soreness and promote faster recovery.

An Oxygen Bar at Country Chill offers pure oxygen therapy to boost energy levels, improve mood, enhance concentration, and relieve headaches. Clients can add supplementary treatment to existing services or enjoy it separately for a quick revitalization.

As Kristine and Gabe strive to expand their offerings, they emphasize that these treatments are non-medical and may not be suitable for everyone. While the safety of these therapies is well-established, individuals are encouraged to consult with a healthcare professional before embarking on any new regimen.

Country Chill aims to be a beacon of wellness innovation that empowers individuals to optimal health and vitality. Through their commitment to holistic care and cutting-edge therapies, Kristine and Gabe invite the community to experience a transformative approach to well-being, one treatment at a time.

Country Chill is located at 114 East C Street. More information can be found on their website, www.countrychill.com, and on their Facebook page.
