St. James plans fall dinner Nov. 5

TRENTON, Neb. — St. James Catholic Church in Trenton is hosting its annual Fall Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 5.

The event will take place from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. and will feature a Turkey Ham Dinner with all the fixings and homemade desserts. Attendees can also participate in a "Split the Pot" drawing and have a chance to win various prizes and gift certificates, with winners not needing to be present.

Additionally, a bazaar and bake sale will be held during the dinner, offering homemade baked goods, canning items, and miscellaneous items for sale.

The cost for the event is $15 for adults (12 and up), $7 for children (5 to 11 years), and free for children 4 and under.

Carry-out dinners and raffle tickets can be obtained by calling Joyce Williamson at (308) 334-5627 in Trenton or by contacting any parish member. On the day of the event, Nov. 5, call (308) 334-5599 for carry-out dinners. Delivery is also available in the Village of Trenton, and hunters are welcome to attend.
