Roughriders reach 20-2 on season with tri sweep

The Southwest High volleyball team’s now 20-2 after beating Chase County and North Platte St. Patrick’s Tuesday night.

Against St. Pat’s, Kyra Nelms clobbered 10 kills with Atleigh Nelms blasting another seven past Irish defenders.

Anikka Nelms kept the family name powerful with six lethal shots.

Payton Truksa pounded five more key points

Senior Bryn Lampe sent out 24 assists besides three dicks and a block.

Allison Van Pelt served two aces while junior teammate Anastasia Gallegos hustled for five digs.

Against Chase County, Kyra Nelms kept hitting for 11 kills with six from Atleigh and five for Anikka.

Lampe totaled 25 assists and served two aces. Truksa totaled four kills, five digs, two blocks and an ace serve.
