Kraft the Ripper strikes again
Shawn Winder/McCook Gazette

McCOOK, Neb. — For a while now residents of McCook have been waking up to what appears to be a slice of Kraft American cheese thrown on one of their cars.

Some have called them the cheese bandit. I have dubbed them “Kraft the Ripper.” Little is known about Kraft the Ripper, with talking to one citizen who reviewed her security film, it appeared to come from a white pickup truck and someone with an endless supply of “chedda”.

West P, West 1st, and Marsh Ave all have been victimized over the weekend.

If you live in that area and have a Ring doorbell, join me. Perhaps you may be able to help solve a mystery.

  • West 2nd has been terrorized by "Kraft the Ripper"! If you google it you will find a "Tik Tok" regarding throwing cheese slices on moving vehicles on streets/highways etc. Thank goodness "Kraft the Ripper" is not tossing his/her "Chedda" on moving vehicles and causing accidenets. Regardless, it needs to stop, this is vandalism of other peoples property!
