McCook 'Y' deadlines for football, volleyball on Friday

McCOOK, Neb. — A final reminder that Friday is the final deadline for 2023 Midwest Liberty Youth Flag Football League registrations.

Divisions include kindergarten through first grade, second-third and fourth through sixth.

Practices will begin the week of August 21. The season will be begin on September 9 and go for seven weeks in the fall.

All games played on Saturdays.

Registration fees are $35 for members and $55 for non-members.

Late registration will not be accepted.

Please register early to ensure placement.

Please note that late entries will not be accepted for the following reasons: 1) Delays in team formation 2) Unbalanced team rosters 3) Team shirt order deadlines 4) Administrative deadlines.

Volleyball deadline

McCook YMCA leaders also announce Friday is the deadline for the 2023 DHW Energy Youth Volleyball League.

Practices will begin after August 22. The season will be begin on September 9 and go for seven weeks in the fall. All games played on Saturdays. Registration fees are $35 for members and $55 for non-members.

Age divisions will be the same as for Flag Football teams.
