McCOOK, Neb. — Trailing 3-0, McCook's First Central Bank Juniors started Rally Tuesday with two three-run innings and a 6-5 comeback win over Imperial at the Jaycees Complex.

Coach James Mockry's Juniors won despite just four total hits. A pair of runs scored on one piovtal Imperial pickoff throw directed near third base.

Leadoff batter Noah Mashek started the comeback when he clobbered a triple well beyond Imperial's center fielder. Conor Rakes soon doubled home both Mashek and Asher Wilson — who walked — trimming the visitors' lead to 3-2.

The top four FCB batters teamed to score all six runs and deliver those four hits.

Asher Wilson walked twice leading into his two runs. Grady Miller also singled and eventually rounded those bases for another run.

Grady Miller also singled and scored. He pitched the first four innings, permitting four hits and three earned runs.

Trey Tiller worked a scoreless fifth before Simon Garcia arrived and threw those last two frames.

Imperial fell short despite outhitting FCB, 7-4.

Thomas Reeves singled twice from the leadoff with an RBI.

Jaret Peterson doubled to drive home another run. Gavin Wisnieski and Tristan Jablonski each deliered another run home.

Carson Lempke pitched three shutout innings before the Juniors recovered.

The FCB team improved to 7-6 this season and will play at Gothenburg Thursday.
