McCook High's tennis girls earn Class B state honors
LINCOLN, Neb. — McCook High’s entire varsity tennis girls lineup earned Class B All-State honorable mention recently.
Senior Carsyn Craig led the Bison with her outstanding top three finish at No. 2 singles in Class B state tournament play last month.
Craig captured honorable mention as did senior No. 1 doubles players Abbie Johnson and Jaci Meyers; sophomore No. 1 singles player Izzy Clause along with No. 2 doubles partners Rowen Wiemers and Roslyn Wiemers.
The Wiemers duo earned Class B seventh-place medals at Lincoln’s Woods Tennis Center. Together, the six girls helped McCook take home another Class B Top 10 team finish.
Senior Ina Satpathy from Omaha Duchesne captained the Class B all-state girls’ tennis first team.
