First Central Bank promotions announced
McCOOK, Neb. - First Central Bank and First Central Bank McCook is excited to announce the promotion of two employees. These two promotions took place in Friday, May 12th, 2023.
Tammy Sexton was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of First Central Bank and First Central Bank McCook.
“Tammy’s extensive background with First Central Bank makes her an ideal fit as Chief Financial Officer for First Central Bank and First Central Bank McCook. She has spent the last several years as Branch President in Cambridge and has displayed the skills necessary to excel in this position," said President and CEO of First Central Bank and First Central Bank McCook Jason Houghtelling.
In 2021, Sexton was featured in BankBeat's "Outstanding Women in Banking" for her work as the Branch President for the Cambridge Location, along with her commitment to the community as she serves as the president of the board for the Cambridge General Store. Sexton has been with First Central Bank since 1991.
The other promotion was for Dave Taylor. Taylor was promoted to Branch President of the Cambridge location for First Central Bank.
Houghtelling highlighted what makes Taylor a good fit as the Branch President in Cambridge. “Dave has spent over 20 years as a lender for First Central Bank. He has developed trust with customers as a loan officer. Dave will make a great Branch President at First Central Bank as he has displayed qualities that make an effective leader.”
Taylor has been a leader in the community as well. He has been active in the American Legion for over 20 years. Taylor began working for First Central Bank in 2002
