McCOOK, Neb. — Henry J. Moline, age 64, of McCook, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at Community Hospital in McCook.
Henry was born in Lincoln, Neb., on June 11, 1958, to his mother, Tyra Moline.
Henry was a father to his sons, Jamie and John, and his daughter, Stephanie. Henry was a devoted husband to his wife, Wanda Moline and they were united in marriage on June 30, 2018.
Cooking was Henry’s passion. He loved trying new recipes, experimenting with different kinds of food, and bringing people together with his cooking. His favorite place he worked at was Hearthstone Nursing Home, where he was also a CNA, and Aladdin at York College.
Henry enjoyed the outdoors by fishing and growing roses in his flower garden. He was competitive while playing golf and games. He listened to old music and liked watching old westerns and was a fan of WWE wrestling. Henry was also a member of the Catholic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his mothe, Tyra; brother, Tracy Moline; and sister, Rose Hicks.
People left to celebrate his life are his wife, Wanda Moline of McCook; sons, Jamie (Amanda Williams) Diessner of York, Neb., and John Diessner of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter, Stephanie (Robby) Cunningham of York, Neb.; granddaughter, Keisha Diessner; sister, Diana (John) Ketchmark of Lincoln; brother, Steve McCoy of Shakopee, Minn.; 10 grandkids and one great-granddaughter, Paeton Lackey. He is also survived by step-children, Susan (Juan) Rima-Vazquez of McCook and John (Karen) Rima of McCook, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested in Henry’s name in care of Carpenter Breland Funeral Home to be designated at a later date.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at 1 p.m., with services to follow at 2 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.
