CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — The McCook Bison have won two of three volleyball matches before this weekend's Panhandle road trip as they swept Cozad 25-18, 25-13 at Tuesday night's Cambridge Triangular.

McCook (4-11 record) also won its tourney finale at Holdrege on Saturday.

The Bison gave Class D-1 No. 2 Cambridge a good first set until those Trojans prevailed 25-20 and 25-13.

Cambridge (19-1) also swept Cozad 25-15, 25-12 to be triangular champions with the 2-0 evening.

Team leaders and other details will appear Thursday.

The Bison move on into Scottsbluff where they'll play three matches on both Friday and Saturday.
