Ed Thomas YMCA to host 9/11 Rememberance Step Aerobics

McCook, Neb. - The Ed Thomas YMCA of McCook invites its members, as well as non-members, to attend an event in recognition of 9/11 Remembrance.

The event is “9/11 Remembrance Step Aerobics” class for all levels, held Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the YMCA gymnasium.

“Using a step class is a great way to commemorate the steps that were taken by EMS personnel on 9/11. I hope we have many that will join us to honor men and women who "step it up" to help no matter what!”, said Martha, Step Aerobics Instructor.

No registration is required. A freewill donation is encouraged and all proceeds from the event will go to support the “9/11 Stair Climb” fundraising efforts for the fire and law enforcement organizations in SW Nebraska.

The “9/11 Stair Climb” is held on September 10 at the MCC Event Center. Registration is open on the Ed Thomas YMCA's website (www.mccookymca.org/9/11-stairclimb) or stop by the service desk at the Y for registration assistance.
