Buffs take second at NWKL, Red Devil wins vault

ATWOOD, Kan. — Rawlins County’s Michaela Rippe earned three Northwest Kansas League championships as the Buffaloes were second overall at Thursday’s track-field meet.

Rippe won the 100 meters, long jump and helped a 1600-meterRawlins relay all finish first.

Freshman Tayten Drewey took home two titles with her high jump victory besides that 1600 relay. Nicole Chumley and freshman Reece Smith finished those other two relay legs.
