Paid Political Advertisement — Jim Pillen is a proven leader

Friday, May 6, 2022

Dear Editor,

Proudly serving Legislative District 44 since 2015, I have come to learn a lot about how things function in the Unicameral and what it takes in a person to be able to work with other people in order to get things done.

I have learned there are a lot of unique values and traits that are required to accomplish this. One trait that is crucial when it comes to working on legislation is a deep understanding of all corners of this state, not just Omaha and Lincoln.

Coming up on this gubernatorial election on Tuesday, May 10th, there are several choices in front of Nebraska voters. Whomever we the voters pick will be the person who decides the direction of this state for the next 4 to 8 years.

I have no doubt in my mind that there is no better candidate for this office than Jim Pillen. Jim grew up with nothing and built his business from the ground up, employing over 1,000 Nebraskans. Jim Pillen has proven himself as a leader who knows how to work with all different types of people.

I also believe that Jim Pillen has a great understanding of this state from Omaha to Scottsbluff. Growing up in rural Platte County, playing football in Lincoln for Tom Osborne, and creating his successful hog operation, Jim has a true understanding of all communities across this great state.

I encourage you to join me in Voting for Jim Pillen on Tuesday, May 10th.”

Sen. Dan Hughes,

Venango, Neb.
