Dear Editor,

Hillcrest Nursing Home became my second home when administrative duties began in 1987.

Over the years at Hillcrest in McCook, and in former homes at Indianola, Cambridge, and Curtis, there is one similar thing that has helped me throughout life. The love people showed for their community through being examples that encouraged me to try and follow. The Hillcrest award presented at Saturday’s Night on the Hill is very much appreciated , as well as the many persons (including staff and residents) that guided me through the decades.
