Tom Osborne encourages all Nebraskans to get vaccinated against COVID-19

OMAHA, Neb. — Former Congressman and Husker Coach Tom Osborne, with the help of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine, has produced a public service announcement urging all Nebraskans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

As highlighted in the message, unvaccinated patients in our Nebraska hospitals now outnumber vaccinated patients by a ratio of 11:1. Our hospitals, from Scottsbluff to Omaha, are near or at capacity and COVID-19 continues to stress our health care systems statewide.

COVID-19 remains a serious threat in our communities and getting the vaccine is the right thing to do for all Nebraskans.
