AURORA, Colo. — Larry Leon Guinn, 83, died Friday (Nov. 5, 2021), in Aurora.

He was born on Sept. 25, 1938, in Oberlin, Kan., to Bruce and Dorthea (Bowser) Guinn. He grew up in Oberlin. He was a PE teacher and coach in Denver, Colo. He married Barbara James in 1967.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bruce (Hazel) Guinn and Don (Juanita) Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Guinn of Aurora; children, Scott (Brook) Guinn of Anderson, S.C.; brother; Gary (Marjorie) Guinn of Oberlin; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service is Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, 11 a.m., at the Oberlin Cemetery. Memorials can be given in his name to the Decatur Community High School Athletic Department. Online condolences can be left at www.paulsfh.com.
