Bison tennis boys garner second at Lex JV Invite

LEXINGTON, Neb. — McCook’s JV tennis boys took second to Class A Kearney among six teams playing at Tuesday’s Lexington Invitational.

Reid Loop and Ian Brown teamed to win the No. 3 doubles title (5-0 record) while leading McCook past Lexington, Kearney Catholic, North Platte and a combined Kearney/Lex lineup.

The Bison scored 34 points overall with Kearny totaling 51 for first place. Kearney/Lex’s 28 points placed third.
