Bison golfers win GNAC by one stroke over N.P.

HASTINGS, Neb. — The McCook Bison golf team competed in the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference Golf Tournament on Friday at Lochland Country Club and coach Joe Vetrovsky provided this information:

" Perfect weather conditions for the event.

The McCook Bison golf team were the team champions of the tournament with a team score of 331. North Platte High School was runner-up with a team score of 332. The Bison golfers competed very well today.

The Bison were led by senior Brady Esch who scored a 78 and earned runner-up medalist as an individual. Brady had a very steady round today and was great off the tee box.

Second in scoring for the Bison was senior Payton Craw by carding an 81 and placing 4th as an individual today. Payton did a nice job around the greens today and was able to save some crucial par opportunities throughout his round.

Another top scorer for the Bison was junior Jonas Sommerville by carding an 86 and placing 9th as an individual today. Jonas did a nice job with his tee shots today and found the fairway majority of the time throughout his round."
